BRITISH AID UNDER CONSIDERATION

RUGBY, January 18.

The Prime Minister (Mr Chamberlain) was asked in the House of Commons, whether the aid that was being given to Finland by the Allies included financial aid, and if so to what extent.

The Prime Minister replied: “This matter is now under discussion with the Finnish authorities. The exact extent of the financial aid which may be necessary or possible cannot yet be determined.”
