Cotton Agreement
It is officially announced in London that Britain and the United States have reached an agreement for the suspension of shipments of barter cotton as distinct from cotton purchased in the ordinary way during February, March and April. King and Queen Inspect Troops The King and Queen spent the morning inspecting a division in the Aidershot command. Among the various units visited was the anti-tank gun unit. By the end of the visit the King had walked some eight miles and the Queen «hnnt half of that distance.
