SHIPPING PORT OF TIMARU

Water front Quiet The waterfront was quiet yesterday, but two coastal vessels, the Port Whangarei and the Storm are due from Dunedin to-day. The Port Whangarei will load for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato Heads, and the Storm for Wellington and Wanganui. Both vessels will sail this evening for Lyttelton. The Gale will arrive from Dunedin on Monday to load for Wellington and Wanganui via Lyttelton. To load for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth, the Karu is expecetd on January 22 and will sail the same day for Lyttelton. The Waipiata is expected from Oamaru on January 22 to load for Wellington and Auckland via Lyttelton. The Wainui is expected from Oamaru on January 24 and will sail the same day for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne, via Lyttelton. The Waiana, from Bluff, is due on February 4. and will sail the following day for Wellington and Auckland, via Lyttelton.
