AIR FORCE PILOTS KILLED

Unlied Press Association —Bv Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received January 16, 12.40 a m.) MELBOURNE. January 15. Two members of the Royal Australian Air Force were killed to-day when a ’plane crashed from 1000 feet and then caught fire near the R.A.F. station at La verton. The victims were:— Pilot Officer James Norman Alexander, aged 20, of Strathfield, New South Wales. Sergeant W. K. Platt, aged 27, Victoria. The ’plane was flying in formation but stalled during a turn.
