GIFTS FOR TROOPS
PACKING AND DISTRIBUTION By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, January 10. Acting on the suggestion of the Governor-General, the standing committee of the National Advisory Council discussed the question of the packing, despatch and distribution of parcels of gifts for the troops overseas. The matter was referred to a special committee for a thorough investigation. The idea is to advise the public how to pack parcels, what to put in and to use the district patriotic councils for making up the parcels.
