ULSTER FLOCKING TO COLOURS
War Effort “Second To None” British Official Wireless (Received November 22, 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, November 21. Interviewed on arrival at Ulster, the Prime Minister of Northern Ireland (Lord Craigavon) told how splendidly the Ulster people were flocking to the colours. “In every war aim.” he said, “we will be second to none in hearty support of our United Kingdom Government. The most outstanding feature of the British home front is the magnificent morale. Generally Ulster’s high record in the last war may be reached in the magnificent response to recruiting.” Lord Craigavon saw Sir John Anderson at the Home Office, Mr W. S. Morrison at the Ministry of Food, and Mr Winston Churchill at the Admiralty. He also paid a courtesy call on Mr Chamberlain.
