Change In Home Defence Plan United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph— Copyright LONDON, November 17. It is officially announced that the Women's Auxiliary Territorial Service is being doubled to forty thousand to release manpower. It is also announced that twenty thousand men aged from thirty-five to fifty will be recruited immediately for home defence ' attalions which will be closely affiliated with territorial county regiments. This recruitment will release able-bodied fighters, a considerable nu her of whom are still guarding bridges, railways a.id factories.
