TWO FAMILIES DEPART In honour cf Mr and Mrs E. Shea and Mr and Mrs Duggan, who are
leaving the district, a large gathering was present in the St. Andrews Public Fall to bid them farewell. ) A most enjoyable evening was spent in cards and musical items. Mrs Kane presented Mrs Shea and Mrs Duggan with afternoon tea waggons and Messrs E. Shea and M. Duggan with a pair of leather gloves. She expressed the hope that they would enjoy every happiness and success in | their new homes. Mr and Mrs Shea i will live in Timaru, and Mr and Mrs i Duggan at Pareora. PERSONAL Mrs S. D. McHarg, of Christchurch, is Ihe guest of Mrs G. J. King. Miss Sadie Hay has passed the nurse’s final examination. | Miss P. Hoskin is visiting Ashburton. I
