HOSPITAL LOAN ISSUE By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH. July 10. Nearly £30.000 of the North Canteroury Hospital Boards debenture issue of £67.000 was s -scribed in the first week, anne need the secretary (Mr A. Prentice) to-day. “Terms of the loan have proved popular with investors and the response so far has been highly gratifying,” he «<id. “The form of th issue has apparently attracted investors, for terms can be arranged for five, 10. 15, IG. 18, 18 and 20 years." Interest is at the rulin ', rate of 41 p-r cent, payable half-> tally, free of exchange. The loan money is to be used for additions to the nurses’ home.
