COMMISSION OF INQI IKY Dy telegrapn - Pres." w:»il<w AUCKLAND. July 10. With the arrival in Wellington today of Mr C. M. Bruce, recently retired principal assistant secretary of the Admiralty. London, the personnel of the commission appointed by the Government to inquire into the pay and conditions of the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy has been completed. The commission has already spent lour days in taking evidence, it having been deemed desirable to proceed without waiting for the arrival of Mr Bruce. However, it will probably meet in Wellington next week to discuss the evidence already taken. It is not likely to take further evidence until the return to Auckland of H.M.S. Leander. Some members of the crew of this cruiser have already submitted written statements, but they will be given live opportunity to give evidence before the commission.
