HUM AWAY CHAMPIONSHIP By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH. June 23. The New Zealand and South Island dog trial championships were continued to-day. The South Island huntaivay event was concluded with , the following result: — A. Giles’s (Clarence Bridge) Spee. i 57 points 1 j J A. Nelson’s (Winton) Brandy, i 561 points 2 A. Henderson’s (Oamaru) Dick, 56 I points 3 W. Dampier-Crossley’s (Waiau) Rock. I 551 points 4 A. Shand’s (Culverden) Toss. 54 | points 5 i C. J. Crutchley’s (Central Otago) Dick. 531 points 6 B. A. Callaghan’s (South Canter- | bury) Romp 111. 53 points .. .. 7 These seven dogs will compete for | the New Zealand championship to- | morrow morning, which will conclude I the trials.
