ADVOCACY BY EX-SOLDIERS By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, June 23. The people of New Zealand in recent years have by their conduct let Anzac down, said the president of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association (the Hon. W. Perry, M.L.C.), in urging the annual conference of the Association to advocate compulsory military training. A remit expressing concern at the present position, and asking the Government to train all persons compulsorily was adopted.
