WORK RESUMED
STATE HOUSING CONTRACTS By Telegraph —Press Associauon WELLINGTON, June 22. In accordance with the resolution of the mass meeting yesterday, the men who stopped work on the Government housing jobs at Karori resumed work this morning. Most of the men who attended the meeting from other jobs went back to work yesterday afternoon, and to-day all work is reported to be proceeding normally. It is expected that the Disputes Committee, comprising representatives of the workers and employers, will meet to-day to discuss the stoppage, and the men’s representations.
