SUDDEN DEATH

GIRL COLLAPSES IN CAR By Telegraph—Press Association ASHBURTON, Jjine 21. Muriel Noeline McKay, aged 16, daughter of Mr Benjamin McKay, of Mayfield, died suddenly about 5.45 o’clock last evening. The girl left home in a motor-car with her father and brother, to meet another brother who was returning from Methven. She was sitting in the back seat of the car, and when her brother was sighted she appeared to become overcome and apparently fainted. She was immediately taken home, where it was found that she was dead. An inquest for the purpose of identification was held at the Ashburton Public Hospital this afternoon. A postmortem examination will be made.
