BREAKFAST FOODS

MILLERS’ INCREASE PRICES By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, June 3. Substantial increases up to 30 per cent, in the wholesale charges for rolled oats, oatmeal and oatina have been notified to retail firms in Wellington by the agents for milling companies in a circular dated June 1. The increases, therefore, do not come within the jurisdiction of the Price Investigation Tribunal which will have jurisdiction over prices in relation to the level ruling yesterday. The director of a group of stores said the increases were unavoidable because he knew the milling companies had recently been losing money at the old prices.
