ACTION DEMANDED
DECLARATION OF FRENCH TERRITORY United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received June 2, 10.30 p.m.) PARIS, June 2. M. Jean de Beaumont, a deputy, opened a petition to Parliament which is already supported by many deputies and senators demanding that the Government declare French Togoland and the Cameroons to be henceforth French territory. M. de Beaumont pointe out that the fact that France agreed to administer the territories Under the control of the League of Nations does not mean that she has renounced her right of conquest of them, which Is the only right recognised by the Reich.
