IMPORTANCE OF INDUSTRIAL HARMONY British Official Wireless (Received June 2. 6.30 pun.) RUGBY, June 1. Commenting on the singular freedom of industry in 1938 from labour disputes the annual report of the Ministry of Labour says: "This freedom and the reluctance of employers and workpeople to pursue their claims to the extreme point may not unfairly be attributed to a strong desire on the part of all engaged in industry to avoid undue interference with production and to do nothing which might serve to weaken the country’s influence at a time of international tension.”
