TIMARU BRANCH The monthly meeting of the Timaru Branch of the Plunket Society was held in the Council Chambers on Tuesday. Present: Mesdames L. M. Inglis (in the chair), F. Lewis, W. Hall, C. The president reported the purchase of a car for the nurses, and thanked the various donors to the car fund. Mrs Inglis paid a tribute to Mrs Ulrich for her enthusiasm in establishing the new car fund several years ago. It was decided to hold the provincial conference in Timaru in July. Miss Edna Graham was appointed to the position of secretary-treasurer. It was decided to hold the annual meeting early in July. Arrangements for the supper to be provided by the committee at the annual ball were made, and members were urged to sell as many tickets as possible.
