VISIT OF AUSTRALIAN PROFESSIONALS
Two leading Austr..lian professional golfers, Norman Von Nida and Eric Cremin, will tour New Zealand early next month, and will play a series of exhibition matches lasting about four weeks against the leading players of the Dominion.
Von Nida has been one of the sensations of Australian golf, as he has in turn beaten such world-renowned visitors to the Commonwealth as Gene Sarazen, Walter Hagen and Hobby Locke. Among the titles he holds is the Philippines open championship (twice). Queensland open championship (three times), Qu'-ensland close championship, New South Wales professional championship, and Federal open championship. Cremin has twice won the Australian professional championship and twice won the New South Wales professional championship. The Australians will arrive at Wellington from Sydney on April 3, and. after playing an exhibition match at Masterton the following day, they will play a match on the Miramar links on April 5. After touring the South Island, they will return to Wellington, and Von Nida will play a special match against the unattached Wellington professional, A. J. Shaw, on the Miramar links on April 15.
The tentative itinerary for the New Zealand tour is as follows:—April 4. Masterton; April 5. Wellington (Miramar); April 6, Nelson; April 7, Blenheim; April 8, Christchurch; April 9. Timaru; April 10, Oamaru; April 12. Otago (Balmacewan); April 14. Christchurch; April 15, v. Shaw, at Wellington (Miramar); April 16, Manawatu; April 18, New Plymouth; April 19. Wanganui; April 21. Hastings; April 22. Napier; April 23, Poverty Bay; April 26. Rctorua; April 27, Hamilton; April 29, Auckland; April 30. Maungakeikei; May 1, leave Auckland for America.

March 29 The Australian golfers, Von Nida and Cremin have postponed their visit for a fortnight, the itinerary now commencing on April 18. From New Zealand they will go on to America and England. They will be acompanied by Archie Keane.
