SCHOOLS’ SPORTS

The warm weather induced a large 1 number of parents to make the occa- ' sion a picnic day and to stimulate the I friendly sporting rivalry which exists I during the day. During the day a show and exhibition of agricultural club work was held, and the high standard of the exhibits, especially the flowers, considering the adverse weather conditions, reflected l great credit on the children who no i doubt gave much attention and care Ito their plants.
