HOUSE DESTROYED

NOTHING SAVED By Telegraph—Press Association WANGANUI, January 13. An eight-roomed residence, owned by Mr B. F. Corrigan, and all the contents, at Brassey Road, St. John’s Hill, was totally destroyed by fire at 1.50 a.m. to-day. The fire-brigade was quickly on the scene, but a gale made it impossible to effect a save of the wooden building. The occupants left at mid-day yesterday on a holiday. The insurance is unavailable.
