FAIRY BABIES
Do you know the Fairy Nursery Down among the grass? Bright-eyed elfin babies Peeping as you pass. If you hide and wait a bit You will see them fed— Just a sup from a buttercup, Before they go to bed. Hammocks made of cobwebs Swaying in the breeze, And if you cry there’s a lullaby From dozens of busy bees.
