Mr and Mrs H. J. Buck, Wellington, are staying at the Grosvenor. Miss Hilda Tozer, Hewling Street, left on Saturday for Invercargill.

Mr and Mrs A. Otway, Wellington, are staying with Mrs A. Wigley, Opuha Lodge, Park Lane..

Miss Pithcaithly, Skipton, spent the week- end with Mrs Bruce Baxter, Evans Street.

Mrs Neill Rattray, Waimate, who is on a visit to Dunedin will Return home to-day.

Mrs Peter Hope, England, is staying with her mother, Mrs E. P. Chapman, Salisbury. Miss Beth Manchester, Waimate, left on Saturday by the Arawa from Napier for England. Mrs and Miss Hunter-Wescon, Dunedin, who arrived yesterday on a short visit to Timaru, are staying at the Grosvenor.

Miss Phyllis Boyle, who has recently returned from a trip to England, is staying with her brother, Commander D. Boyle, Orari.

Mrs H. Hay, who has been spending some months in Dunedin, has left to stay with her daughter, Mrs Maurice Warren, Christchurch.

Mrs Holm Turnbull, Christchurch, arrived on Saturday to stay with her daughter, Mrs Gould Hunter-Weston, Elizabeth Street.

Mr and Mrs A. E. Wishart, who have been staying with Mrs J. Stevens, York Street, have left on their return to Auckland.

Mrs Martha Jane Diamond, living with her daughter, Mrs J. McKenzie, Carterton, celebrated her ninety-sixth birthday on Friday. She is still hale and in good health, and thoroughly enjoys life.
