The United Press, in an official message from Hyde Park says: President Roosevelt has invited King George and Queen Elizabeth to visit the United States next summer. INVITATION ACCEPTED NO DEFINITE PLANS MADE united Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright Independent Cable Service (Received November 9, 12.5 a.m.) NEW YORK, November 8. King George and Queen Elizabeth have accepted President Roosevelt’s invitation to visit the United States, according to an official statement tonight. While no definite plans have been made, it is expected that Their Majesties will be able to stay in this country four or five days, two of which will probably be at Whitehouse. Whitehouse in a written statement to the press says: “The President is very happy to know that the King and Queen of Great Britain hope tu be able to accept his invitation to visit the United States next summer.
