The Berlin correspondent of “The Daily Telegraph” says: "A new Wave of press propaganda has made the return of the colonies the question of the hour. It is considered the only outstanding Anglo-German issue. Concern in Africa It is reported from Pretoria that the South African Prime Minister (General Hertzog; has had a long conference with the Administrator of South-West Africa (Mr Conradie). It is believed that they discussed South-West Africa's defences and more effective methods of counteracting Nazi propaganda. Mr Conradie emphasised the Unionist Party’s perturbation in view of the Germans being openly more confident of their return to Germany. Later they conferred with Colonel Hanman, Leader of the Unionist Party, which favours fusion with South Africa.
