WARNING TO PUBLIC
LOW-PRICED WOOLLEN GOODS By Telegraph—Pres? Association WELLINGTON, October 26. A warning that any 10-.’-priced woollen goods offered to the public should be carefully examined to see whether they are true to description, was given by a corcular issue/ to-day by the Hon. D. G. -Sullivan, who said that his attention had been drawn to certain goods advertised as all-wool which, on examination, were found to contain a very small percentage of wool. In one particular case an analysis of the material from which a garment was made up disclosed that it comprised approximately 95 per cent of cotton. In the Interests of the public he considered it desirable to issue his warning.
