NOMINATIONS RECEIVED By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, September 28. Three nominations have so far been received for the Northern Maori seat, these including the present sitting member, Mr Tau Henare, who is a Nationalist. The other nominated candidates are Mr Hoorl Taretamna. of Kaikohe, and Mr Paraire Karaka Paikea, of Wellington. The last named is secretary of the Maori Advisory Council of the Labour Party. Mr W. J. Polson, sitting member, was to-day nominated for the Stratford electorate.
