Tlie match between an English Eleven and Australia, which was played at Scarborough, was drawn. After two stoppages of play owing to rain, the captains agreed at 3.20 p.m. to abandon the match. The Englishmen opened again in cold weather. Woolley and Fagg batted as though they were only faintly interested.
