The Cabinet has decreed further anti-Jewlsh legislation. Jews are not to be permitted to teach In universities or schools, or privately, and Jewish children are no longer being admitted to State schools, but university students who have almost completed their studies will be allowed to finish them. A Cabinet communique states that decisions are being taken at Its next meeting with regard .to the entire position of Jews in Italy from the Fascist viewpoint. It is also decreed that courses In Arabic are to be started In the high schools to meet the exigencies of the Empire. The decree against Jewish scholars applies to both foreign and domestic Jews and becomes effective at the reopening of the educational institutions after the summer holidays. It will effect 20,000 in the secondary schools and universities. PROFESSORS MUST EEAVE UNIVERSITIES United Press Association —By EHectric Tel ear (Received September 4, 6.30 p.m.) ROME, September 3. Forty-five Jewish professors at Florence, and 17 at Milan University are among the numbers dismissed throughout Italy.
