TRUCK DROPS 150 FEET By Telegraph—Press Association ’ELSON, August 28. Two men l.ad a miraculous escape from serious Injury on Saturday ifternoon v.l n a r-uck fell 150 feet own a steep hillside near Hope. The ruck was bringing a load of wood ■om Aniseed Valley, and at the top of the hill pulled aside to let a car pass. Sud. only the road gave way mder the strain and the truck toppled o -• ‘he brink. It somersaulted at I--st a dozen times before reaching the bottom. The passengers in the cab, Robert Freeman, of Hope, and a man -v-Dowcll. were thrown clear when the cab was smashed to matchwood halfway down. Freeman sufered shock, scratches and bruises and was taken to hospital, tut his condlion is not McDowell was only slightly cu‘ The truck w"- wrecked.
