NORTH END CLUB A medal round In conjunction with the third qualifying round was played by the North End Golf Club on Saturday. E. Manthorp won the men’s event on a count back and Mrs Anderson scored in the women's. Details are:—
INTER-CLUB MATCHES TIMARU DEFEATED In a match played on the Strathconan links, Fairlie, over the week-end, the home team defeated Timaru by 11 games to seven. A feature was a bogey score <6Bl obtained by M. T. Houlihan (Timaru). He went out in 33 and home in 35. The score is the best put up by a visitor on the Fairlie course. Results: Singles
