LAMB ADVANCES IN PRICE CHILLED BEEF DEARER The lamb market is very firm and prices have again advanced. Consumption continues good. The mutton market Is slow and with the exception of lightweights prices have an easier tendency. With lighter supplies of chilled beef prices have improved substantially. Porker pigs are firmer, but trade is slow owing to the warm weather. Baconer pigs are easier owing to the poor demand.

DUNLOP PEKDRIAU By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, August 27. The Dunlop Perdriau Rubber Co., Ltd., announces a net profit for the year ended June 30, subject to final audit, of £41,4596. The profit has been struck after making appropriate provision to cover the lowest market price of raw rubber as at June 30, 1938. The board will recommend to shareholders payment of a final dividend of 5 per cent, for the half year on cunipreference shares, making 10 per cent, for the year, and a final dividend on ordinary shares of 3* per cent., making 7 per cent, for year.
