IMPRISONMENT IMPOSED By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, August 8 On a charge of being intoxicated, while in charge of a car, John Walter Monk, aged 25 years, single, a railway yard man, was sentenced to six weeks’ imprisonment with hard labour, and for unlawfully converting a car to his own use, was placed on probation for a year. William George Cook, aged 38 years, a labourer, admitted intoxication while in charge of a car, and was sentenced to three weeks’ imprisonment with hard labour.
