ATTACK BY BULL
SURPRISE FOR FARMER By Telegraph —Press PALMERSTON N., July 16 A resident of Makomako, Mr F. Groves, sen., was attacked by a bull which he considered to be perfectly safe. Mr Groves slipped and the animal was upon him in an instant. Although unable to gain his feet. Mr Groves was able after a series of attacks to turn the animal off by driving his thumbs into its eyes. Later, Mr Groves received medical attention, one wound in his arm needing seven stitches.
