ASSISTANCE FOR AUSTRALIAN MINISTERS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 15, 6.30 p.m.) CANBERRA, July 15. The Federal Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons) announces that parliamentary secretaries will be appointed to assist in the administration of the Treasury and the Department of Defence. Mr J. N. Lawson will be appointed to the Treasury, and Mr G. A. Street to the Department of Defence. They will relieve Ministers of much routine work, and also help the drafting and handling of bills.
