Tall Woman’s Hour.
This is said to b» the tall woman’s hour so that hair styles and hats are in vogue to give the little woman extra inches. The latest introduction fo this purpose art sandals that have soles two inches thick. They are for evening wear and are planned to bring the short woman a little higher up in the world. “Wreaths” or Curls. Large curls bunched on top of the head are all very well if you happen to be ir need of a few more inches, but if you are quite tall enough without the help of any hairdressing aids there is a new and delightful style, easy to keep in order and arrange for yOv.rseL. The top of the head is kept perfectly smooth and sleek'-y shining like a skull-cap while a wreath of small curls outlines the head with a neat ring. A Useful Device. A specially treated cloth to help you wher you are pressing clothes is a useful device. You use it when you would otherwise use a damp cloth, but unlike the damp cloth method, you are assured that it will not cause any shininess on the material you are ironing, or, for that matter, any scorch marks. spoons grated cheese, butter, parsley. Make the toast. Butter and keep hot. Heat asparagus and drain well. Beat yolk of egg. Add vinegar, salt and cayenne. Stir over low heat till it coats the spoon. Add cheese. Lay 3 stalks of asparagus on round of toast. Pour over a little sauce, then top with poached egg. Sprinkle with parsley and serve very hot. Smoked Fish Casserole.
