BUDGET AT END OF NEXT WEEK By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON. July 13. The House of Representatives met at 2.30. Notices were given of the setting up of various Select Committees in connection with the transaction of the business of the House. In answer to a query by the Leader of the Opposition, the Hon. Adam Hamilton, the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon M. J. Savage,, stated that the Budget would be introduced somewhere about the end of next week. He added that he could not say definitely the day on which would be presented. Three days’ leave of absence was granted to Mr Tau Henare on account of illness. Mr C. H. Chapman gave notice to introduce next sitting day the Wellington City Empowering Bill, and Mr A. S. Richards gave similar notice to move the Coromandel County Reclamation and Empowering Bill.
