WOMAN IN’CRED By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON. June 16. A compound fractme and severe lacerations of the left thigh and shock were suffered by Misr M. Donnellan. a shop assistant, when a tramcar and a motor-lorry collided at the corner of Wakefield and Cuba Streets. The accident was an unusual one. The lorry-driver braked his vehicle to allow a pedestrian the right of way over the roadway on ° marked crossing. Miss Donnellan was standing on the platform of a tram following the lorry, and when the tram struck he back of the lorry she was thrown forward, striking the road in front of the tram.
