The first two placed dogs were the only ones to succeed in yarding the sheep. The judge, Mr J. PICTURE AND “YODELLING COWBOY”

Charlie Ruggles, of “Charlie’s Aunt” fame will head the programme in “Turn Off the Moon,” a delightful comedy musical at the De Luxe Theatre, Fairlie, at 8 o’clock to-night. Music and laughter are equal ingredients mixed in liberal proportion in a story which uses astrology as a royal aid to romance and an additional headache to Charlie Ruggles’s frustrated sweetheart, Eleanor Whitney. Good supports will be screened. A special a'traction will be the appearance on the stage of Jack Carter, “the yodelling cowboy,” who, weather permitting, will give a stock whip display outside the theatre at 7.30 o’clock to-night. Mr Carter recently concluded a successful tour of Australia, and after appearing at the principal theatres in New Zealand, he is engaged to tour in America.
