BADMINTON
NORTH ISLAND TEAM By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON. June 14. The following have been selected to represent the North Island against the Australian badminton tourists at New Plymouth: P. Hawksworth (Wairarapa), J. Spedding (Taranaki), Mrs C F. Wren 'Auckland), and Miss N. Fleming (Wellington). The South Island team to meet the Australians in the South Island test at Dunedin is: Miss M. Kerr (Otago), Mrs Salisbury (Southland), W. Abbott, J. Swan (both Otago). The New Zealand team will be announced after this match.
