Already several city stores are busy making “Snowwhite and the Seven Dwarfs” hats similar to those made in America, a few samples of which, worn by leading Hollywood film stars, are shown here. Inset by each hat is the Walt Disney sketch of the characters from which hat styles were taken. This world-famous technicolour full-length film will be shown shortly in Sydney. The Kind Huntsman inspired the sports model worn by Anne Shirley at top left. Note the curled golden feather rearing upwards from the leaf brown felt hat. The inimitable Sneezy inspired the piquant mode shown at top centre and worn by Lucille Ball. Prince Charming, no less, prompted the creation of this chapeau at top right, worn by Lucille Ball, who played recently with Irene Dunne and Douglas Fairbanks, jun. “Doc.” one of the most lovable of the dwarfs, inspired the model at lower left, worn by Ann Miller. Ann Shirley, at lower centre, an R.K.O. star, wears an adaptation of a bonnet as featured by “Dopey,” while “Happy” sponsored the delphinium blue hat worn at lower right by Alice Brady.
