AUSTRALIAN ITINERARY The match programme for the New Zealand team on its tour of Australia has been approved by the New’ Zealand Union as follows: July 16.—v. N.S.W., at Sydney. July 20. —v Newcastle, at Newcastle. July 23.—v. Australia, at Sydney. July 27.—v. Western Union, at Wellington (N.S.’/.). July 30.—v. Queensland, at Brisbane. August 3.—Match in Queensland country centre. August 6.—v. Australia, at Brisbane. August 10.—v. F.C.T.. at Canberra. August 13.—v. Australia, at Sydney. The team is to leave Wellington on July 7 for Sydney. The New Zealand Rugby Council is suggesting that departure from Sydney or the return trip to New Zealand be taken on Monday. August 15. for Wellington, instead cf on Saturday, August 13 (after the final match) for Auckland, with the proviso that the Auckland members of the team be permitted J .o leave on August 13 for Auckland direct if they so .e--sired. A request is also being made of the New’ South Wales Rugby Union that the New Zealand team travel to Newcastle or the day prior to the match there instead of on the day of the match.
