WAIMATE GARDEN COMPETITION

• To the Editor of “ The Timaru Herald ” Sir,—l have waited in vain for a repty from the Waimate Horticultural Society to E. H. Keen, Morven, on the decision in the Waimate garden competition. Mr Keen must be right or wrong when he says that on points the prize given to Mr Reid, should have been given to him. I would ask the Society to give a definite answer to this question. There is a principle at stake and I think the matter should be cleared up. If a mistake has been made, it should be put right at once.—l am, etc., JUSTICE.
