REDUCTION OF FOREIGN QUOTA United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received May 3, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, May 1. The International Sugar Council’s reduction of 5 per cent on the foreign quota in the current year does not affect the Australia’s and South Africa’s colonies irreducible quotas, but is designed to equate supply' and demand. It is expected that indirectly there will be an advantage to Australia through the enhancement of price.
