PORT OF TIMARU

LATEST ADVICES The Breeze was the only arrival at the port yesterday. She called from Dunedin in the morning and, after loading for Wellington and Wanganui, sailed for Lyttelton. The Holmglen, which also was scheduled to arrive from Dunedin, is now expected to reach Timaru to-day to load for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato. ARRIVAL March 31. NOTES The Storm is scheduled to arrive from Dunedin to-morrow to lift Wellington, Picton and Wanganui consignments. She should sail that night via Lyttelton. The Kaimai is to load coal at Westport to-day and is now expected to arrive here via Lyttelton on Tuesday to discharge. She is to sail hence that night via Lyttelton. The Waipahi has been delayed in the north and is not expected to be at Timaru from Dunedin and Oamaru, until to-day week, when she is to load for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne.

Kent Clears Curacao Cabled advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Kent cleared Curacao last Thursday. She left Bluff on February 23 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester, and Glasgow via the Panama Canal. Mahia From Australia The Mahia is due at Oamaru from Australia on May 2 and at Port Chalmers on May 4. She will then proceed to Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland, sailing finally from the lastnamed port on May 17, for London, where she is due on June 27. Arawa From London The Arawa is due at Wellington from London on April 21, and will later sail for Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, New Plymouth and Wellington, leaving the latter port finally on May 20 for London, being due there on June 23. Strathaird For London The Straithaird is now scheduled to leave Sydney at noon on April 14, instead of on April 16, and will proceed to London via Hobart and Melbourne. Rangitiki Homeward Bound The Rangitiki, which sailed from New Zealand on March 10 arrived at Panama on March 29. She is due to arrive in London on April 12.
