WEDDING

(OSK lE—WALLER i The marriage was celebrated at the \ Presbyterian Church. Woodbury, of I Evelyn Lily, elder daughter of Mr and I Mrs G. Waller, Tripp Settlement, and I Frederick Owen, only son of Mrs McI Intosh, Woodbury, and the late Mr F Coskie. The Rev. Canon J. F. Coursey performed the ceremony and Mrs Coursey was at the organ. The church was beautifully decorated by friends of the bride, the flowers being kindiv given by Mrs J. M. Barker, Waihi. The bride who was escorted by her father, wore a frock of magnolia satin, cut on slimming lines, the back and sleeves being trimmed with satin covered buttons. The cowl neckline was held in place with a spray of orang? blossom and the skirt flared at the back to form a long oval train. Her handembroidered veil was held in place by a halo of orange blossom and she carried a shower bouquet of cream roses, lilfes and maidenhair fern. Misses Eileen and Phyllis Waller attended their sister as bridesmaids, wearing frocks of pink satin with puff sleeves. The cowl necklines were held in place with a spray of pink and gold velvet flowers. The bodices were finished at the back with a row of satin covered buttons. Their pink sashes, which were tied at the back, fell to the hem of their skirts. They wore pinx I and gold halos on their hair and car- • ried shower bouquets of pink lilies, ! carnations and maidenhair fern. 1 Avis Waller, the bride’s sister and I Colleen Cain, niece of the bridegroom, attended as flower girls wearing ankle length frocks of pink satin, with puff sleeves, the necks and hemlines being finished with tiny frills. They wore pink and gold flowers in their hair and carried posies of pink carnations and asters. The bridegroom was attended by his cousin, Mr J. Bamford. Christchurch, as best man, and Mr L. Woods. Timaru, was groomsman. I On leaving the church the bride was presented with a lucky horse shoe by : the bridegroom's small niece, Vera Cain. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. Mrs Waller mother of the bride, and Mrs Mclntosh, mother of the bridegroom, received the guests. The bride's mother wore a navy pin spot crepe de chene frock, relieved with pink, and a navy straw hat, and carried a bouquet of pink roses and carnations. The bridegroom’s mother wore a navy floral frock, and navy coat, a navy straw hat trimmed with white, with a shoulder spray of mauve asters. When the happy couple left on their wedding tour the bride was wearing a navy blue model tunic frock embroidered in red and green with a navy halo hat, and carried a navy coat.
