GLASGOW EXHIBITION

WORK ON BUILDINGS PROGRESSING WELL British Official Wireless (Received March 12, 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, March 11. The buildings on the 175 acre site of the Empire Exhibition at Glasgow to be opened by the King next May, are progressing rapidly. Millions of visitors are expected. Wonderful panoramic views of Southern Scotland will be obtainable from a 300 ft. high streamlined steel tower which has been erected on a natural hill round which the Exhibition buildings are grouped. Two lifts will convey visitors to the top.
