YESTERDAY’S QUOTATIONS Special to the "Timaru Herald." CHRISTCHURCH, March 11. The following quotations were ruling when the Stock Exchange closed for the day:—

NEW ZEALAND DRUG COMPANY The fifty-ninth report of the directors of the New Zealand Drug Company, Ltd., recommends that the available profits be dealt with as follows: The amount brought forward was £36,049/0/6, which, with the net profit for the year of £77,734/13/11 less the interim dividend of £20,405, leaves a sum of £93,378/14/5 to be dealt with. It is proposed that this be allocated as follows: To the payment of a final dividend of 44 per cent, making 8 per cent for the year, £26,235; to add to the general reserves £27,700, and to carry forward to next year £30,443/15/4. The directors, in view of the financial position of the company, recommend the payment of a bonus of 5/- per share to all shareholders on the register on March 1.
