NAVAL EXPENDITURE
BRITAIN AND DOMINIONS COMPARED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 12, 1.35 a.m.) LONDON, March 11. It was stated in the House of Commons that Britain's naval expenditure per head of the population was 45/7, Australia 10/10, New Zealand 9/-, Canada 44 cents, South Africa 5 2-sd. It is announced that the Admiralty has decided to increase the basic rate of the marriage allowances of naval ratings and other ranks to 17/- per week.
