ORARI BRIDGE
FAREWELL PARTY A very pleasant party was held in the Orari Bridge Hall when the many friends of Mr John Stewart, who has been transferred to Christchurch, met to bid him farewell. During the evening the opportunity was taken by Mr T. Mayne of presenting Mr Stewart with a leather travelling set with the best wishes of those present. Messrs D. Williams, R. Roberts and G. Hayden endorsed his remarks and expressed regret at Mr Stewart’s departure. Mr Stewart suitably responded. Amongst those present were: Mr and Mrs E. Woods. Mr and Mrs C. Stringer, Mr and Mrs A.
